Stephen A. Rendulich, DDSDoctor Rendulich is a dual Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.  He is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and The National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.  He has advanced training in routine and complex dental implants, wisdom tooth removal, as well as the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

He has a passion for perfection in determining the best treatment options and then continuing with that same passion when following through with your care.  This drive for perfection in dental implant surgery has made Dr. Rendulich one of the most sought after implant surgeons in the area.

He uses the most contemporary advancements in oral surgery and dental implants including an in office Cone Beam CAT Scan (3D X-ray) and surgical guides that are made utilizing this technology to custom make guides for each individual patient.

Dr. Rendulich has been in private practice since 1999, practicing (solely) in Huntersville, NC since 2004.

His full scope practice includes wisdom tooth extraction, dental implants, in office anesthesia, facial fracture repair, reconstructive jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery) and diagnosing and treatment of oral pathology.

Dr. Rendulich obtained his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Georgetown University Medical Center, in Washington, DC finishing in 1999.  During his residency he had extensive training in dental implant planning and surgery, wisdom tooth removal, anesthesia, orthognathic surgery  (jaw straightening), facial trauma surgery, craniofacial and cleft lip and palate surgery, facial cosmetic surgery and oral pathology (growths/tumors).  During his residency , he was honored to serve as Chief Resident.  While at Georgetown he had the unique experience to be involved with the many complex cases that were treated at its Cleft and Craniofacial Center which attracted many patients from around the world who traveled to be treated there.

During his training Dr. Rendulich traveled twice to the Dominican Republic, with medical missionary service, to perform oral, reconstructive, cosmetic and cleft lip and palate surgery for the underprivileged of the country.

Prior to training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Rendulich completed a one year general practice residency (GPR) at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in 1995.  This opportunity allowed him to care for our Nations Veterans and train at one of the largest VA hospitals in the Nation that offered many unique and advanced training experiences.

Dr. Rendulich attended the University of Maryland Dental School earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery and graduating Magna Cum Laude (with great distinction) in 1994 and was ranked #1 in his final year.

Dr. Rendulich’s undergraduate degree was obtained from the University of Pittsburgh where he graduated Cum Laude (with distinction) in 1989 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology.

Outside the office Dr. Rendulich enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, traveling, biking and fishing.
